Bill Wild
Managing Partner
Parts Galore

As Managing Partner, Mr. Wild oversees the daily operation of Parts Galore, a concept he invented in 2000, after realizing there was an opportunity to capitalize on the "do-it-yourself" trend in auto maintenance.

Armed with his decades-spanning knowledge of the automotive parts industry and people who enjoy working on cars, Mr. Wild invented the "Parts Galore" concept - providing a safe, clean, used auto parts facility that permits customers to salvage parts from used cars and save money. Soon after, Mr. Wild teamed with Soave Enterprises to pursue creation of the first Parts Galore in Detroit, Michigan.

Possessing more than 40 years’ experience in the used auto parts and scrap metal business, Mr. Wild has experience in all areas of the business, excelling as a purchaser, buyer, manager, operator and owner of auto salvage and scrap operations.

In 1995, Mr. Wild converted Highway Auto from a full-service parts facility to a scrap metal operation. In 1988, while continuing to own and operate Highway Auto, he started Scrap Busters, Inc. in Wayne, Michigan, a full-service auto salvage yard that is now owned and operated by his son.

As a teenager, Mr. Wild learned the business working at Highway Auto in Taylor, Michigan, a company he would eventually purchase in 1984.
